The initial consultation and assessment are free. The minimum visit is one hour.
We confirm the applicable rate and any agreed additional costs in writing before the first visit.

Babysitting enquiries
Babysitting is priced separately from the £28 adult companionship rate. For a child aged 10 or over, tell us the number and ages of the children, location, date, start and finish time, and the general arrangement required.
We confirm availability, suitability and the full price before you decide whether to book.

Shopping and appointment support is £28 per hour under the current launch price schedule.
If GT Family Care or an authorised worker provides agreed vehicle transport, the charge is 45p per mile, plus any parking, toll or congestion charge agreed in advance.
Vehicle transport is offered only where the arrangement and insurance have been confirmed. Accompaniment does not automatically include transport.
Before support starts
Invoices are normally issued fortnightly and are payable within seven calendar days, using the agreed payment method.
Full cancellation terms are provided before service begins. GT Family Care’s current approach is no charge with at least 48 hours’ notice; where a late-cancelled slot cannot reasonably be reallocated, the charge may be up to the cost of the booked visit, with discretion for genuine emergencies or exceptional circumstances. There is no charge if GT Family Care cancels.
